Karim Hafez (Yeni Malatyaspor)
The winger played the full 90 minutes during Yeni Malatyaspor goalless draw with Genclerbirligi in the Turkish league.

Sunday 5 July 

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Aston Villa)
The winger started the game and was replaced with five minutes remaining as Aston Villa lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the Premier League.

Ahmed Elmohamady (Aston Villa)
The right-back was kept on the bench in Aston Villa's defeat by Liverpool. 

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
The winger played the full 90 minutes and although he hasn't found the net, he still created a late goal for substitute Curtis Jones.

Ahmed 'Kouka' Hassan (Olympiacos)
The towering striker came off the bench in the 46th minute but couldn't help his team prevail in the Greek League summit against Panathinaikos that ended scoreless. He was also booked in the 58th minute.

Aly Ghazal (AE Larissa)
The Egyptian midfielder played in his team's scoreless draw against Panionios. He started the game and was susbstituted at half time.

Mohamed Elneny (Besiktas)
Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny played the entire game in his team's 3-1 defeat at Kayserispor.
