Wolfsburg Egyptian winger Omar Marmoush announced that he is doing his best to book a regular place in his team's squad, revealing that he received offers from Germany Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Spain La Liga side Malaga FC before deciding on joining his current team.
"All what I need is to score more goals to secure a regular place in Wolfsburg squad," Marmoush told a television programme.
"I received two offers from Borussia Dortmund and Malaga to join one of them but I preferred to wear Wolfsburg jersey to save a regular place in the team's squad,"
Marmoush made eight appearances with Wolfsburg in all competitions including 5 games in the Germany Bundesliga, two games in the Europa League, and one game in the DFB-Pokal.
He made his debut with Wolfsburg's senior team on 26 May during his club’s 4-1 victory against Bayer Leverkusen, where he entered the game as a substitute in the 76th minute.
The 21-year-old had joined the Bundesliga side from Egypt’s Wadi Degla in 2017, and played in the U-23 team, scoring 11 goals after 36 participations.
Marmoush signed a new deal with Wolfsburg last June that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2023.
