Mohamed Elneny wants the fans behind him
Ahead of the game against Everton in the English Premier League, Arsenal Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny asked the Gunners' fans to support him to improve his performance.
"I need you [Arsenal fans] to support me, not put me down," Elneny said ahead of Friday's game against Everton.
Elneny explained that he needs support especially in the bad times because "in the good moments everyone is supporting anyway."
" I need you [supporters] when I have a bad game, this is what makes me happy and makes me improve more, " the Arsenal player said.
The 28-year-old midfielder was loaned out to Turkish team Besiktas last season but has since returned to Arsenal at the start of the ongoing season when his former teammate Arteta returned to coach the team.
The Egyptian player made 36 appearances in all competitions with Arsenal so far this season, scoring two goals in the Europa League.
Arsenal are ninth in place in the English Premier league table with 46 points after playing 32 games so far this season.
