Mohamed Elneny's thunderbolt against Irish side Dundalk in the Europa League was voted as Arsenal's Goal of the Season on Friday.

The Egypt midfielder let fly from distance in the group-stage clash in December last year, arrowing his shot into the top corner of the net.

"There were some outstanding strikes over the course of the campaign, but topping the poll, as voted for by you, the fans, was Mohamed Elneny’s stunner against Dundalk," Arsenal said on their official website.

Elneny garnered 31 percent of the votes, followed by Kieran Tierney on 21 percent and Nicolas Pepe on 13 percent.

"Beyond happy and grateful to win 'Goal of the season' award. BIG THANKS to all who voted for me.. I really appreciate it," Elneny said on Twitter.

The 28-year-old played 41 games in all competitions with Arsenal last season, scoring three goals.
