Galatasaray's Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed will start his side's Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven on Wednseday after coach Fatih Terim announced his starting line-up during the pre-match news conference on Tuesday.

The Turkish side will have a mountain to climb as they need to overturn their 1-5 away defeat in the first-leg of the competition's qualifying round, which took place last week.

Mohamed started on the bench before being introduced on the hour-mark. However, he failed to make an impact as Galatasaray were hammered by a vibrant PSV side.

Galatasaray turned down a request from the Egyptian Football Association to release Mohamed for the ongoing Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The 23-year-old has made a superb start to his Turkish tenure since joining from Cairo giants Zamalek last February on a one-and-a-half-year loan deal with an option to make it permanent.

He scored 11 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, with Galatasaray narrowly losing the Turkish league title to Besiktas last season.
