Newly-arrived striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan came off the bench to mark his Altay debut with a goal as his side crushed Alanyaspor 4-1 in the Turkish league on Saturday.

Rayan came in as a substitute for Ivorian striker Daouda Bamba only 9 minutes before the final whistle and opened his account from a brilliant shot from outside the area.

The 23-year-old, attacker fired a powerful shot into the high point of the corner from outside the area to complete the rout.

The Egyptian star joined Altay from Cairo giants and African champions Ahly on a one-year-loan contract last Tuesday, with the Turkish have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Altay are in the driving seat of the Turkish league table with 6 points, two over Besiktas after two matches.
