Egyptian midfielder Sam Morsy said on Saturday he is excited to start his Ipswich Town adventure after joining from Championship club Middlesbrough.
Morsy moved to the third-tier club on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee earlier this week.
"Mad few days but I'd like to thank everyone connected to football club. The management team, medical team, fans and players all were amazing with me and it was a great honour and privilege to represent this football club," the 29-year-old said on Twitter.
"Looking forward to my new journey with Ipswich Town. Can't wait to get going and stuck into the challenge this season. See you all soon."
Morsy made his Egypt debut in August 2016 and went on to earn six more international caps.
His last appearance came in a 2-0 victory over Swaziland in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in 2018.
