The Egyptian national team striker Ahmed ‘Kouka’ Hassan joined the Turkish side Konyaspor coming from Greek giant Olympiacos.
The Turkish club announced on Wednesday the transfer of the 28-year-old international on its official Twitter, without mentioning any further details on the deal.
The website transfermarkt reported that Kouka will join Konyaspor on loan for one season, with the option to buy.
Konyaspor are playing in the first tier of the Turkish football league. They are now placed fifth after four rounds of the Turkish Super League with seven points, after finishing 11th in the latest edition of the domestic league.
Kouka started his career with Ahly before playing for several teams abroad in Europe, especially in Portugal and Greece. This will be his first time playing in Turkey.
