Egyptian striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan came off the bench after the break to score Altay's only goal during the team's 1-3 loss to Konyaspor in the Turkish league on Saturday.

The 23-year-old attacker headed a powerful ball into the net during injury time in the second half to mark his second goal in the Turkish League.

Last month, Rayan marked his Altay debut with a goal as his side crushed Alanyaspor 4-1 in the 2nd matchday of the Turkish league.

The Egyptian international recently joined Altay from Cairo giants and African champions Ahly on a one-year-loan contract, with the Turkish side having an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

Altay are currently in the 7th place of the Turkish league table with 6 points after playing 4 games so far this season.
