Omar Marmoush celebrates his goal against Hertha Berlin (Photo: Stuttgart s official Twitter account)
Marmoush put the hosts ahead after 15 minutes, latching onto a threaded pass to race clear from the halfway line and slot home with aplomb.
Philipp Forster doubled their lead four minutes later but a brace from Hertha Berlin's Stevan Jovetic either side of the interval secured a share of spoils.
Marmoush has scored two goals and provided as many assists in six Bundesliga games with Stuttgart so far this season.
The 22-year-old missed four consecutive league games in October and November due to an ankle injury that sidelined him for a month.
Marmoush, who made his return from injury in a 2-1 win over Mainz late last month, has recently become a key member of Egypt's squad under Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz.
