The 24-year-old attacker came on as a substitute in the 59th minute, finding the net five minutes before the final whistle through a brilliant header to secure the draw for his team.
Mohamed had scored five previous goals in 18 appearances with Galatasaray in the Turkish league so far this season, booking a regular place in the team’s lineup in all competitions.
Turkish side Galatasaray officiated the contract option of Egypt striker Mostafa Mohamed to change his deal from on loan to permanent basis last December.
Mohamed has made an impressive start with Galatasaray, scoring 16 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions since joining the team last season.
Mostafa Mohamed was part of Egypt national team squad while playing the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, helping the Pharaohs to reach the continental tournament final game before losing to Senegal on penalty kicks last week.
