Friday 2 September 

Mahmoud Trezeguet (Trabzonspor)
The winger scored his first goal since joining Trabzonspor in the summer as they beat Ümraniyespor 1-0 in the Turkish league. 

Saturday 3 September 

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
The winger played the entire game in his team's 0-0 draw against Everton in the Premier League and was denied by the woodwork in the dying minutes. 

Omar Marmoush (Wolfsburg)
The winger came on as a substitute after the break but Wolfsburg lost 4-2  to FC Cologne in the German Bundesliga. 

Ahmed "Kouka" Hassan (Olympiacos)
The striker was left out Olympiacos' squad for the 3-1 win over Ionikos in the Greek Super League.

Mostafa Mohamed (Nantes)
The striker started the game before being replaced with 10 minutes remaining as a 10-man Nantes side lost 3-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1.
