The towering striker spent the last season at Turkish side Konyaspor where he scored 11 goals in 38 appearances with the team in all fronts.

He returned to Olympiacos this summer and made just two appearances with the Greek club before moving to Alanyaspor.

“We hired Ahmed Hassan from Olympiacos on a one season loan deal,” President Hasan Çavusoglu told the club’s official website on Thursday.

“He has a previous experience in Turkey and I believe he will boost our team.”

From his part, Kouka expressed his pleasure after joining the club, adding he will do his best to help the club earn more success.

"I am very happy and motivated to be here. I will do my best to help the team succeed."

The 29-year-old is among eight foreign-based players called-up for Egypt’s national team by new coach Rui Vitoria for their games against Niger and Liberia on 23 and 27 September respectively.
