The international winger provided the first goal to Marek Hamsik in the 16th minute when the Slovenian striker met Trezeguet’s pinpoint cross from the left flank with a nice header to open the scoring for his side.
Trezeguet turned from provider to scorer eight minutes after the hour-mark as he added the second for his side with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.
He was replaced 11 minutes from time, making way for Umut Bozok.
Trabzonspor are now second in Group H of the Europa League with three points, behind leaders Ferencváros who have claimed the maximum six points.
The 27-year-old joined Trabzonspor from English Premier League club Aston Villa in the summer. He has scored two goals in 11 appearances with the Turkish side in all competitions so far.
Trezeguet is among eight foreign-based players called-up for Egypt’s national team by new coach Rui Vitoria for their games against Niger and Liberia on 23 and 27 September respectively.
