Coming off the bench in the 62nd minute, the 28-year-old had an immediate impact, finding the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. However, it served as a mere consolation goal, as Trabzonspor fell short in the match.

This goal marked Trezeguet's first since his strike against Antalyaspor, sealing a 2-0 victory, back on February 1st.

In early March, the Egyptian international suffered a muscle injury during a Turkish league encounter against Umraniyespor, forcing him to spend six weeks on the sidelines.

Trezeguet returned to action on April 16th in Trabzonspor's goalless draw with Besiktas.

Throughout his time with Trabzonspor, the versatile winger has amassed a total of 10 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions.

Currently, Trabzonspor sits in eighth place in the league table, accumulating 45 points, which places them a significant 28 points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
