According to French newspaper l'Equipe, Nantes have until June 15 to pay a transfer fee of six million euros to secure the player's services permanently.

Mohamed joined Nantes on loan last summer, with an option to make the deal permanent.

During his loan spell, the 25-year-old scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.

In the Ligue 1, he was the team's top scorer with eight league goals, despite Nantes narrowly avoiding relegation in the final stages of the season.

The former Zamalek striker joined Galatasaray in January 2021, before moving to Nantes on loan in the summer of 2022.
