The Egyptian forward latched onto a brilliant long ball from goalkeeper Alisson Becker and dinked the ball over onrushing City goalkeeper Ederson to claim a precious 1-0 win against the Premier League Champions.
Salah's strike against City saw off competition from his other 11 shortlisted goals, including his goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Goal of the Season award is the latest individual honor for Salah, who continues to shine for Liverpool this season with 30 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.
The 31-years forward finished his sixth season with Liverpool, where he joined from Roma in the summer of 2017.
In 305 matches in all competitions with Liverpool, Salah has scored 186 goals and provided 79 assists.
He won seven titles with the team, the Champions League in 2019, the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup that same year, then the Premier League in the 2019-2020 season, the EFL Cup, the FA Cup and the Community Shield in 2022.
