Egyptian free agent winger Amr Warda completed on Saturday his move to Raja Club Athletic on Saturday after signing a two-year contract with Moroccan side.

Raja introduced their newly signed star in a video that quickly went viral on Facebook.

In the presentation video, Warda expressed his excitement, stating, "Casablanca is a city that breathes football, as every place here narrates a legendary story."

"I am Amr Warda, and I am here to defend the most prestigious shirt in the world, the Raja shirt. Dima Raja," the Egyptian winger added.

Earlier this August, Raja's president announced he had reached an agreement with Warda.

The 29-year-old winger became a free agent after his contract with Cypriot sports club Apollon Limassol FC expired earlier this summer.

Warda's 8-year European journey has been marred by a poor disciplinary record.

The Greek Super League title in 2019 and the 2018 Best Player award in Greece are the highlests of his career.

He was a member of Egypt's national team that participated in the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In the previous season, Raja finished the Moroccan top-flight league in fifth place with 44 points, trailing 23 points behind champions FAR Rabat.
