The 24-year-old found the back of the net in injury time, salvaging a point and preventing Frankfurt from suffering their first defeat of the season.

Currently placed seventh in the league table, Frankfurt has accumulated four points from two games, trailing leaders Union Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, and Freiburg by two points, all of whom have a perfect six-point record.

Marmoush joined Frankfurt in the summer transfer window after rejecting an offer to renew his contract with Wolfsburg, joining the club on a free transfer.

This marked his first Bundesliga goal for Frankfurt, following his impressive performance in their 7-0 victory over Lokomotive Leipzig in the German Cup earlier this month.

Having started his international career in October 2021, Marmoush features among eight foreign based players called-up by Pharaohs coach Rui Vitoria for the national team's next month camp.

The camp will see the Egyptian national team face Ethiopia in the Nations Cup qualifiers and Tunisia in a friendly match.

Marmoush has scored four goals in 18 appearances for the Pharaohs so far.
