Reports in Saudi Arabia on Saturday suggested that Salah would be playing his last game for Liverpool against Newcastle on Sunday before joining Ittihad Jeddah.

However, Klopp told beIN Sports after the match that there was no truth to the rumors.

"Everybody talks about Salah? No, we are not talking about that. No one at Liverpool asked me about Salah, this is not true," Klopp said.

Ittihad Jeddah are reportedly interested in signing the 31-year-old Egyptian forward, who has two years left on his contract with Liverpool.

However, Klopp has repeatedly said that Salah is not for sale.

A stance echoed by Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, who said earlier this year that they had no intention of leaving the club.
