Egypt's Trezeguet to resume training in mid-September, says Trabzonspor coach

Despite earlier reports indicating a lengthy recovery period for Egyptian winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan, Trabzonspor coach Nenad Bjelica has revealed that the player will be ready to face Besiktas on September 17th.

Trezeguet sustained a fractured rib during Trabzonspor's 2-0 loss to Galatasaray in the Turkish league on August 19th, and the club initially announced that he would be sidelined for approximately two months.

However, Bjelica stated, "Trezeguet will be available for the Besiktas clash after the international break," during an interview with local media on Thursday.

The 28-year-old winger is among the nine foreign-based players called up by Pharaohs coach Rui Vitoria for the September camp. The Egyptian national team is set to face their Ethiopian counterparts in the Nations Cup qualifiers on September 8th, followed by a friendly against Tunisia four days later.

Last week, the Pharaohs' doctor expressed doubt about Trezeguet's availability for the upcoming camp, scheduled to begin on 4 September.

However, an official decision regarding the player's fate has yet to be announced.

Since his international debut in 2014, Trezeguet has made 67 appearances for the Pharaohs, scoring 11 goals.
