This marks Salah's fifth consecutive nomination for the prestigious individual award.
The list includes last year's winner, Karim Benzema, as well as Sadio Mane, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland.
Despite Liverpool's disappointing season last term, Salah had an outstanding individual campaign, netting 30 goals across all competitions.
In 2022, the 31-year-old finished fifth behind Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Kevin De Bruyne, and Robert Lewandowski, respectively.
The Ballon d’Or winner will be unveiled on 30 October during a ceremony held at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.
