During September, the 31-year-old Pharaohs skipper made four league appearances with the Reds, scoring twice and providing two assists to help the team win three out of the four games played through the month.
Salah was competing for this prize alongside Erling Haaland (Manchester City); James Maddison and Son Heung-min (both Tottenham Hotspur); Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United).
The three-time Golden Boot winner as the English Premier League top scorer, Salah, has scored eight goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool so far this season.
