Alanyaspor said in a statement via its website that Kouka had joined the club until the end of the current season without disclosing further details.

Kouka, 30, joined Pendikspor in September on a free transfer after ending his contract with Greek champions Olympiacos in June.

With Pendikspor, who have earned their place in the Turkish Super Lig for the first time in their history, Kouka has made four appearances so far this season; netting three goals in the Turkish Cup.

This marks the fourth chapter in the career of the former Braga and Olympiacos striker in Turkey, following his stints with Konyaspor during the 2021/2022 season and Alanyaspor in the 2022/2023 season.

During the previous stint with Alanyaspor last season, Kouka netted 10 league goals in 24 appearances.

Kouka, who made his international debut in 2013, was a member of the Egypt squad that was recently eliminated from the African Cup of Nations round of 16 following its loss to DR Congo.

Alanyaspor currently lies in the 14th place of the Turkish Super League table with 27 points from 24 games, 36 points behind leaders Fenerbache.
