In the dying minutes of the match, the 25-year-old unleashed a well-placed shot from the edge of the area, leveling the score at 2-2 against his former club.
Marmoush, a product of Wadi Degla's youth teams, joined Wolfsburg II in the summer of 2017 before earning a promotion to the professional team three years later.
After declining to renew his contract with Wolfsburg, Marmoush joined Frankfurt in the last summer on a free transfer.
His goal against Wolfsburg marks his tenth in the Bundesliga this season and his third consecutive goal since returning from international duty with the Pharaohs in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations.
Frankfurt are sixth in the Bundesliga table with 34 points.
