Mido, who transitioned into coaching following his playing career, currently hosts a TV sports show on an Egyptian satellite channel and serves as a pundit on Saudi sports programs.
Salah, who will celebrate his 32nd birthday in June, was heavily pursued by Saudi powerhouse Ittihad Jeddah last summer, although they failed to secure his signature despite a reported £200 million bid.
Despite recruiting top talents such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, and Fabinho, the team has experienced a downturn in form and is unlikely to defend their title, trailing leaders Al-Hilal by 22 points.
Salah's future, along with that of some Liverpool players, has come under scrutiny following coach Jurgen Klopp's announcement of his decision to step down at the end of the season.
Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has already earmarked Salah as one of their primary targets for the upcoming transfer window, while several Saudi clubs are also monitoring his situation closely.
In 2022, Salah penned a new contract with Liverpool. While the club has not officially disclosed the length of the deal, British media reports suggest it spans three years, keeping Salah at Anfield until 2025.
