Nantes took an early lead in the 19th minute through Matthis Abline, but Terem Moffi levelled the score for Nice in the 72nd minute.

However, it was the 26-year-old Egyptian attacker who ultimately secured the victory for Nantes in the 77th minute with a well-executed penalty kick.

With an impressive tally of eight goals in 22 games, Mohamed currently holds the position of Nantes' top scorer this season.

Having initially joined Nantes on loan from Galatasaray in 2022, Mohamed's exceptional performances convinced the French side to exercise their buy-out option at the beginning of the season.

During the previous season, Mohamed left a lasting impression with 13 goals and five assists in 54 games across all competitions.

Nantes currently occupies the 14th spot in the Ligue 1 table, having accumulated 28 points from 27 games played thus far in the season.
