The 31-year-old topped a fan poll on Liverpoolfc.com, edging out Virgil van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister, who finished second and third, respectively.
Salah's prolific form saw him lead the Reds' scoring charts across all competitions with 25 goals, contributing a team-high 13 assists, tied with Darwin Nunez.
His 38 goal involvements in 44 appearances proved instrumental in Liverpool's Carabao Cup victory and Champions League qualification through a third-place Premier League finish.
Salah etched his name further into Liverpool’s history books by surpassing Steven Gerrard for fifth place on the club's all-time scorer list.
In December, the Egyptian reached the remarkable milestone of 200 goals with a strike against Crystal Palace, joining the esteemed company of Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell as a double centurion for Liverpool.
Despite an injury setback during the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt, Salah returned to achieve another remarkable feat, becoming the first player in Liverpool's history to score 20 goals in seven consecutive seasons, achieving the feat with a goal and a hat-trick of assists in a Europa League win over Sparta Prague at Anfield.
Salah's accomplishments continued to pile up, as he scored and assisted in Liverpool's recent 4-2 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur, making him the first player in Premier League history to achieve double figures in both goals and assists for three consecutive seasons.
Having previously secured the Liverpool Player of the Season award in the 2017-18, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons, Salah now adds a fourth accolade to his illustrious collection, solidifying his status as one of Liverpool's all-time greats.
