Hamed, a product of Cairo-based Zamalek's youth academy, became a free agent after his three-year contract with the Egyptian Premier League side expired. He turned professional with the Cairo-based club at the age of 16, captaining their U19 side and earning a spot on the Egyptian National U20 team.
He had been training with Panserraikos in recent weeks before securing a permanent move to the Greek outfit.
The promising youngster is expected to join Panserraikos' first team as they aim to improve on last season’s seventh-place finish. The club has struggled in the early stages of the current campaign, having yet to register a win in their opening two matches.
Hamed follows in the footsteps of fellow Egyptian Amr Warda, who played for Panserraikos in the latter half of last season. Warda was instrumental in their mid-table finish, contributing five goals and three assists during his brief stint with the club.
Panserraikos will be hoping that Hamed can bring similar success as they navigate the challenges of the Greek top flight.
