In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Salah emphasized that he is not currently preoccupied with details of his future at the club, despite his contract having only one year remaining.
"I don’t think much about it, to be honest," Salah said when asked how he sees the contract situation.
"I just came before the season and it was just like ‘I’ve got one year left, so let’s just enjoy it and don’t think about the contract now’," the 32-year-old added.
Salah's comments come at a time of increasing speculation about his future, with fans and pundits alike wondering whether he will renew his contract or move on to a new challenge.
His name has been frequently associated with a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League. In 2023, Liverpool reportedly turned down a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad.
"I don’t want to think about next year. I don’t want to think about the future; just ‘OK, let’s enjoy the last year [of my contract] and we’ll see’," he said.
"My life is around football, and that’s why I do everything related to it," Salah explained.
"I watch the games when I go home, I do recovery when I go home, and I do gym when I go home. I do gym here, so everything is about football," he continued.
The Egyptian star's commitment on the pitch is evident, as he has already netted twice in Liverpool’s opening games this season under the guidance of new head coach Arne Slot.
