Al-Wasl’s coach Bruno Metsu said on Thursday he is happy with Mahmoud “Shikabala” Abdlel-Razek’s performance, which helped the team to a 4-2 win against Ittihad Kalba in UAE Cup on Tuesday. The 26-year-old winger made a great debut with his new team, making two assists during the game.
"I am so happy with Shikabala’s performance in Tuesday's win," the French coach told Emirati newspaper Al-Emirat Al-Youm on Thursday. "If he continues at this level of performance he will make a difference for the team," the former Senegal coach added.
The international winger joined Al-Wasl this summer on a season-long loan from Cairo giants Zamalek.
