Cody Gakpo netted the equalizer for Liverpool against Brighton, with the 32-year-old Salah securing the victory to the Reds to the top of the English Premier League table.
"Top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less. All teams win matches, but there's only one champion in the end. That's what we want," Salah posted on his X account on Sunday, expressing his ambitions for the season.
"Thank you for your support last night," he added.
Liverpool is currently in negotiations with Salah to extend his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.
However, an agreement has not been reached as speculations about Salah's potential departure persist.

"No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like," Salah affirmed in his statement.
Throughout the season under Liverpool's new coach Arne Slot, Salah has been a consistent presence in the lineup, featuring in all matches, amassing nine goals and seven assists in 15 appearances.
In the previous season, Salah impressively scored 25 goals in 44 matches across various competitions for Liverpool.
The Egyptian winger made the move to Liverpool from Italian side AS Roma in the summer of 2017.
With 364 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, Salah has scored 220 goals and provided 96 assists, establishing himself as a pivotal player for the club.
Liverpool are leading the English Premier League table with 25 points after playing ten games so far this season, two points over title holders Man City.
