The 25-year-old forward has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks, amid reported interest from other European giants including the likes of Arsenal, Serie A side Roma and La Liga giants Barcelona

The versatile forward, who can operate in any position across the front three, is enjoying a remarkable 2024-25 campaign, scoring 18 goals in 24 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt and contributing 12 assists across all competitions.

On the international stage, Marmoush has continued to impress, since his debut in 2021, he has earned 35 caps during which he scored 6 goals, solidifying his role as a key player for the Pharaohs.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Manchester City have moved quickly to secure Marmoush's services.

The report claims the reigning Premier League champions have agreed on personal terms with the Egyptian forward, clearing a significant hurdle in the deal.

However, negotiations between Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt over the transfer fee remain ongoing.

The German club is reportedly demanding £67 million, a price Pep Guardiola's side is hesitant to meet at this stage.

City are expected to submit an initial bid for Marmoush this weekend as they look to bolster their attack in an attempt to save their current campaign.

The Citizens are currently sixth in the Premier League table, trailing leaders Liverpool by 12 points despite winning their last two matches.

City have struggled in attack this season, with Erling Haaland's 16 goals standing in stark contrast to the rest of their forwards, none of whom have scored more than twice in the league.

Marmoush's arrival could provide much-needed depth and creativity in the final third as Guardiola's side aims to revive their domestic title challenge.
