The Reds currently lead the league table with 67 points from 28 games, 13 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal, who still have a game in hand.
“The biggest motivation is to win the Premier League, not even the Champions League!” Salah said during an interview with Optus Sport.
The 32-year-old Salah, who has yet to sign a new deal to extend his stay at Anfield beyond the end of this season, has scored 25 league goals and provided 17 assists, keeping him at the top of the English Premier League scoring chart and helping his team in the title race.
“For seven years, I always said the Champions League is bigger. This is the first year I’m saying the Premier League,” the Egyptian winger added.
“I just want to win the Premier League with the city and with the fans and to experience that day. Parading in the city is going to be incredible!” Salah said.
