The 25-year-old forward has impressed with his energy and work ethic, scoring three goals in eight appearances so far this season.

"I’ve gained more confidence working with Pep Guardiola, who I consider the best coach in the world. I give my best in every game," Marmoush told BeIn Sports.

"Manchester City’s players have helped me perform at my best, and the atmosphere in the team is superb," the Egyptian winger added.

The Premier League champions completed the signing of Marmoush from German side Eintracht Frankfurt in January, securing him on a four-and-a-half-year contract for a reported fee of £59 million.

Marmoush had been a standout performer in the Bundesliga, impressing with his versatility and ability to excel in any position across the front three.

His arrival at Manchester City addresses a pressing need for the team, which has faced challenges this season.
