Saudi football club Al-Hilal coach, Gabriel Calderon, has praised his international hitman, Ali, for his outstanding performance against Al Shabab in the Saudi league on Monday.
The Pharaohs' star contributed to his team’s precious 2-0 win as he got a penalty on minute 72 which is how his teammate, Mohamed El Shalhoob got the second goal.
“Ahmed is a good player. He needs time to deliver better performance,” the Argentinean coach was quoted as saying by Al Eqtisadiah Saudi newspaper on Tuesday.
“I am convinced with him and his teammates. I don’t have starters or benchwarmers as all the players are equal and ready to play,” he added.
The 22-year old joined the Saudi giants last month on loan from Egyptian club, Ismaily, until the end of the current season.
He scored his first goal with them last week against Al Ahly to help them secure a place in the Saudi Crown Prince Cup semi-finals.
