Egypt and Borussia Dortmund striker Mohamed Zidan has reached an agreement with his German team to go to his homeland to complete his rehabilitation from the injury that will sideline him for three weeks.
“It’s God will; I sustained the injury at a bad time as I started to gain my coach’s appreciations” read a quote in Ahram Online.
“Dortmund management allowed me to travel to Egypt next week to complete my rehab,” Zidan added.
Zidan missed the Bundesliga leaders’ last game against St Pauli on Saturday, and now he is expected to return to action by mid-March.
Zidan hopped to join Egypt national team squad in the game against South Africa on 25 March in the African Cup of Nations 2012 qualifiers.
