Egypt playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika gave Bani Yas a 1-0 win over Al-Shabab in the United Arab Emirates league on Saturday.
The evergreen midfielder notched up the winner on the stroke of halftime, slotting home from close range after an Al-Shabab defender miscued a defensive clearance.
Abou-Treika, who took his tally to three goals with Bani Yas since joining from Egyptian giants Ahly on a short-term loan deal last January, made his return from injury in last week's 2-1 defeat by Al-Nasr.
The 34-year-old converted a late penalty to give Egypt a precious 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifiers last month.
