Hull City coach Steve Bruce said the team's Egyptian striker Mohamed Nagy 'Gedo' could play in Friday's championship game against Bristol City if he fully recovers from a recent foot injury.
"Gedo is rated 50-50 to be involved as he continues to struggle with a foot injury," Bruce said on the club's twitter account on Thursday.
The 28-year-old sustained a foot injury during his side's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough two weeks ago and scans have revealed that the injury has troubled him before.
The Egyptian striker missed Hull City's two last games in order to recuperate from his injury.
Gedo – who arrived to Hull City in January after signing a six-month loan deal with the English club – has made a good start, scoring five goals in six matches. He failed, however, to score any goals within the last five games.
The England Championship side Hull City are looking to make the stay of Egypt's striker Mohamed Nagy "Gedo" permanent after his impact at the KC stadium since his arrival.
Hull remains second in the Championship table with 77 points, six clear of third-placed Watford. The Tigers will want to secure the full points of the game to secure an automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The top two will seal direct promotion to the Premier League.
