Basel continued their dominance of Swiss football by winning their fourth successive league title - and a seventh in 10 seasons - with a 1-0 home victory over St Gallen in the final on Saturday.

Talented winger, Mohamed Salah and lively midfielder, Mohamed El-Neny played in the final league game and celebrated the Swiss team's win by brandishing their Egyptian flag.

Twenty-year-old Salah, who has impressed Basel since joining the team from Egypt’s Arab Contractors last summer, was recently linked with a move to a bigger European club this summer.

Basel opted to sign El-Neny permanently after his six-month loan contract came to term, as he managed to establish himself as a key player in the club's midfield, thanks largely to his precise and efficient passes.

Basel goes into the third qualifying round of next season's Champions League.
