Hull City manager Steve Bruce revealed that he did his best to keep the services of Egypt winger Ahmed Elmohamady after his superb performance with team in the championship games last season.
The Premier League newcomers, Hull City signed Egypt international winger Ahmed Elmohamady from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee last June.
“We’ve turned a couple of last season’s loans into permanent deals in Ahmed and George and that was important," Bruce told Hull City official website.
Elmohamady spent most of last season on loan at Hull, making 41 appearances and scoring three goals as they secured a return to the top-flight.
“Elmohamady was our Player of the Year last season, so the first piece of important business was to get his transfer over the line and we did that," he added.
“We’re very pleased with what we’ve got so far. We’ll add one or two more to make us bigger, stronger and better, and to make us better equipped for the challenge ahead.” Te tactician concluded.
