Several English and German Clubs expressed an interest in signing Basel forward Mohamed Salah, the player's agent said on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old has been in inspirational form lately, producing a string of fine displays, most notably in a European Champions League clash at Chelsea where he scored to give Basel a 2-1 upset win.
The Egyptian winger's agent Yehia Ali said his client could leave Basel as soon as January.
"Salah is close to moving to the Premier League or the Bundesliga in the winter transfer window," Ali told an Egyptian TV show on Wednesday.
The player's agent also said that playing on a regular basis is what matters most for Salah.
"Having an effective role with any club he joins is the most important thing for Salah," he added.
