Egypt's promising winger Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim 'Kahraba' has opened his account with Luzern during the 2-0 win over FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League on Saturday.
The 20-year-old broke the deadlock six minutes before the break. when he ran onto a deft through pass to notch home past the advancing keeper. Tomislav Puljic sealed Luzern's victory with an 81st-minute goal.
'Kahraba' joined FC Luzern from Egyptian outfit ENPPI in the summer, penning a one-year deal with an option to extend his stay until 2017.
The winger, who has outstanding attack skills, caught attention internationally after his appearance in the U-20 World Cup and during the African Championship, when the Young Pharaohs defeated Ghana in the final.
Luzern are fifth in the Swiss Super league with 15 points after ten games.
Abdel-Moneim's nickname 'Kahraba' can be translated to 'Electricity,' an expression of his lively performance.
