Egypt winger Ahmed Elmohamady was named man of the mach of Hull City's 1-1 away draw against Swansea Monday in day 15 of the English Premier League at Liberty Stadium.

The 26-year-old made a fine cross to teammate Danny Graham in the 9th minute to score the Tigers' only goal to help them remain 12th on the Premier League table.

"First, I have to congratulate [Graham] as it's been a long time for him. He works very, very hard in the games and in training as well,” Elmohamady said on Sky Sports Channel after the game.

"He's on the score sheet again and it's very good for him, and very important for the team."

Hull City's on-loan Graham, who left Swansea for Sunderland in January after 13 goalless games and failed to score in another 13 games at Hull, was happy to finally break his jinx.

"It's been a long time coming," Graham said, adding "we had to work hard and we knew it was going to be tough. They keep the ball well and we set out with a shape that we thought would frustrate them and then hit them on the counter-attack, and that seemed to work.

"I wanted to go crazy. I had a great relationship and great times down here in south Wales, and it was always the case that, if I scored, I wasn't going to celebrate.

"[The reception] was very touching and very nice, and I'd like to thank them for that. It was nice they showed appreciation when I came off."

The former ENPPI player, Elmo, a regular starter for Hull City in the Premier League, has been consistently featured by the Pharaohs since 2007. He helped lead the team to two African Nations Cup titles in 2008 and 2010 and scored in 15 appearances this season.
