Egypt striker Mohamed “Gedo” Nagy seems close to a return to his home team Ahly from Hull City when the transfer window reopens in January.

“Unhappy times here … “ Gedo tweeted on his Twitter account on Thursday.

The 29-year-old striker has been dropped from the team, which lost to Manchester United on Thursday 2-3 in the English Premier League.

Gedo joined Hull City on a six-month loan deal in August after making an impact with them during their promotion campaign at the beginning of the year.

However, he has only been called twice since the team played in the Premier League.

Strikers Robert Koreen, Danny Graham and Yannick Sagbo have been doing well making it hard for him to carve his way through to Steve Bruce's starting lineup.

Ahly is willing to get him back to boost their league campaign, which kicked off on Tuesday.
