Egyptian striker Mohamed Nagy Gedo has decided not to complete his loan deal with English Premier League side Hull City and will return to his home club Ahly, the player's agent revealed.

Gedo joined Hull City on a six-month loan deal in August after making an impact with them during their promotion campaign in early 2013.

The 29-year-old striker failed, however, to land a regular place on Hull City's squad this season, with talks opening of his return to base club Ahly.

"Gedo has decided to return to Ahly to help the team towards winning the Egyptian league and Champions League titles," the player's agent Mamdouh Eid said via his Twitter account on Monday night.

"Great times at the KC. Thanks to the great fans," the agent added.

Earlier on Saturday, Ahlyrefused a loan deal offer from an unnamed English Championship side for Gedo, asking Hull's management to allow the player to return to Cairo in case Hull didn't want to complete the current loan deal.
