After his recent outstanding performances, Saudi Al Hilal management is preparing an offer to acquire the services of Egypt’s striker Ahmed Ali permanently.
“My coach Gabriel Calderon told me in a meeting that the management will launch an offer to make my deal permanent,” Ali told Ahram portal on Monday.
The 22-year old joined Al Hilal last January on a six-month loan deal from Egypt’s Ismaily. Despite his poor start, he adapted quickly to play an instrumental role in the club recent successes.
“When he asked me if I am happy here and that I want to remain with team, I said surely yes but it is conditioned by Ismaily approval,” explained the Pharaohs international.
“They will send a letter to my club on Tuesday, and I expect that they will send their representatives to Egypt next week,” he added.
Al Hilal, who will take on Al Nasr next Sunday, only needs only four points to clinch the league title as they are now at the top, 9-points ahead of second-placed Ittihad.
After scoring crucial goals for Al hilal to gain the praise and respect of both fans and Saudi media, Ali announced recently that he wants to remain with the Saudi league title holders promising to do his best to score in all the coming matches.
