Paris Saint-Germain coach Antoine Kombouare admitted on Tuesday that his Ivorian international defender Siaka Tiene is preoccupied by the political unrest in his homeland

"We know that he has a few worries at the moment," said Kombouare, when asked about the impact of events in Ivory Coast on his player.

"We talk about it often and we're all with him. Maybe football is his outlet. We're managing it."

Tiene, who arrived at PSG from Valenciennes last year, was on the bench for PSG's 1-0 defeat of Lyon in the league on Sunday but could be named in the starting XI for their French Cup semi-final against Angers on Wednesday.

At least 900 people have been killed in Ivory Coast in recent weeks during unrest sparked by former president Laurent Gbagbo's refusal to vacate office despite losing November's presidential election to Alassane Ouattara.
