Ghana’s defence title campaign is in danger after conceding a 1-1 draw against Gambia to drop at the bottom of the group with just a single point from two games.

The Black Satellites striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom placed a magnificent header in the 88th minute to cancel Gambia’s Boubacar Jammeh’s lead in the 23rdminute.

The Ghanaian failed to clinch the full points of the game despite seeing their opponents reduced to 10 men after Jammeh’s was shown the red card for a harsh tackle.

Earlier in the day, Cameroon defeated Nigeria 1-0 courtesy to a goal from Ohandza Franck in the dying minutes of the first half to go top of Group B with six points and reach the semi-finals.
