AC Leopards secured a comprehensive and surprise 4-0 win over Group A leaders Cotonsport of Cameroon in the penultimate game of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage on Saturday.
Striker Kader Bidimbou scored a hat-trick on 54, 75 and 83 minutes to give the visitors a stunning victory. Cesaire Gandze netted the consolation for Cameroon's Cotonsport in the 72nd minute.
Cotonsport remained on top of Group A with 10 points despite Saturday's loss, having won threes game and drew in the fourth before the 4-0 loss to Leopards.
AC Leopards kept alive their hopes of reaching the semifinals as they moved second with 8 points.
ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast will host Real Bamako of Mali in the other Group A match on Sunday.
